Big Show, Big Business

Aman Kishore, Managing Director, Vaaan Infra Pvt Ltd: We operate in the field of ITS and are a systems integrator, developing technical solutions for the highway infrastructure industry. We feel this is an exciting time for the industry; with new government in place there is going to be more impetus on infrastructure investment. We saw big industry players participating in the show. I think TrafficInfraTech should continue on a longer run because it is very important to understand about new innovations and technologies. We believe there should be also greater participation from the users because they are the ones who are going to use these technologies and solutions.

Rajesh Bhavsar, CEO, Vitaran Electronics Pvt Ltd: Our products cater to tolling application, BRTS, Metro, entrance control, physical access control, pedestrian & vehicular access control and many more areas. We launched a few products at the show which were well received. There were limited but very focused and quality visitors. We saw visitors from BRTS and Metro visiting our stall because we provide indigenous solutions.
Anil Anand, General Manager, Kistler Instruments (India) Pvt Ltd: We have had mixed response at the show. In keeping with the trend and the economic conditions outside, we have received a lot of enquiries from the visitors. Some of our customers are participants themselves. We came across visitors from regulatory authorities like NHAI. Kistler manufactures weigh-in-motion system sensors and is based out of Switzerland.

Dr Rajesh Krishnan, CEO, ITS Planners and Engineers Pvt Ltd: We did manage to get good quality visitors and also got connected to other exhibitors with whom we may work together in the near future. We are into ITS segment and our products were well-received by Bengaluru and Kolkata Traffic police.

Jeevit Vashishtha, Business Development, Head ITS India Region, FLIR Intelligent Transportation Systems: I must admit TrafficInfraTech show is one of the best shows on traffic in the country. Even the industry completely relies on it. The visitors have realized that there are technologies available and there are competent players in the Indian market. It has a good impact on your prospective clients. Even though they may not place an order upfront, the process of negotiation starts. Interestingly, we managed to connect well with the Police Commissioners of Delhi, Hyderabad, officials from Bengaluru traffic police, and also officers of various Municipal Corporations. It was a very promising show.

David Moszkowicz Managing Director, Lumiplan ITS India Pvt. Ltd: We returned to Trafficinfratech Expo 2015 because we received very good business leads last year. It is an excellent platform to showcase our technology and our services for the Indian market and I would like to say that all the important people in this market are coming here. I am very satisfied about this show, it is a wonderful platform for expanding our business in India. Thank you for organizing this wonderful event. Also, I would recommend to extend this platform and have more workshops with the main players of the Indian market.
