Big Show, Big Business

Abhineet Aggarwal, Business Development – RFID Systems, Pepperl + Fuchs (India) Pvt Ltd: This is the third time that we are participating at the Show. Electronic Toll Collection has now grown considerably in India. There is big potential for use of RFID technology in tolling. The customers are much more aware of this technology. It would be good to have more road concessionaires at the Show.

Rajeev Sharad, Vice President, Polixel Security Systems Pvt Ltd: Traffic InfraTech gives a very good and focussed platform to showcase our solutions to targeted business visitors. The selection of the centralised expo location, handling of visitor invites and layout of stalls made the event a success. Looking forward to draw benefits from having participated in this event.

Jayant Lavania,General Manager Business Development, Safety First: We had good quality visitors and got good response to our Highway Safety products. Officials from PWD, Traffic Police and Municipal Corporations visited our stall. Our wire safety barrier is a new product and there was good interest for it from the visitors. We got many prospective inquires, out of which we hope some will be converted into solid leads and later on into deals. One thing I would like to see is a bigger area for the Show in future editions.

Parampreet Singh, Director, Avantech Engineering Consortium Pvt Ltd: This is the second time we are participating at the Show. The show is very well organized, the exhibitor profile is excellent. We had quality, high profile and relevant visitors. We have had some good business inquires too. But we would appreciate if we could have more such visitors from the industry at the Show.

Harpreet Singh, General Manager, AJS Scale International: We are into promoting ITS products and systems which include road safety products and data collection equipment. We have introduced many equipment in this field in the country. We were one of the few road safety companies participating at the Show. We had some fruitful interactions with the other exhibitors too.

Parking InfraTech, an exciting new addition

Venkatesh R, Director, Magnetic Auto Control (India) Pvt Ltd: We are one of the largest manufacturers of Pedestrian Access Control and vehicle barriers. We currently address tolling applications, Automatic Fare Collection for MRT, BRTS as well as security. Over the years the show has been maturing and we have noticed that participants as well as the visitors are a lot more informed and matured. The improved quality of the visitors reflects the economic change we are witnessing in the country; there is a lot emphasis on quality infrastructure. With focus on better real estate, roads and government’s push towards having ‘Smart Cities’, we expect things would get better over the next few months.

The initiative to give parking a separate Show is a welcome change this year. We hope to see more industry, vendor as well as customer participation in the next exhibition.

Wilfred Menezes, CEO, Omnitech Group: Omnitec is based in the Middle East and India. We are actively involved in the parking business in India for the last six years. It is a good idea to have a separate show for Parking. People who are especially interested in parking visit the Parking section. The presence of new companies in Parking InfraTech gives the message that the sector is opening up. The organisers have done a good job of getting on board the players in the parking business. We had good visitors who were looking for specific products which we had – Parking Management System, ANPR systems and some integrated solutions and we hope to covert some of them. We have been with the Show since its inception and we feel the Show is improving year by year. We feel every visitor to this Show is important for us.
