TechFusion Mobility Showcase

“We were there in the last edition of Trafficinfratech, we are excited to be here this year too and we will definitely be there for the next edition of the show.”
“It is very important to be a part of such an event where everybody comes together and exchange experience, contact. I think this is the best place to interact.”
“The biggest takeaway is the humongous amount of attention that India is able to draw because we are seeing a lot of international customers or rather OEMs who are focused on the Indian market”.
“The show was fantastic, a very interactive platform with a lot of energy in the people.”
“The expo should happen once in six months, not yearly!”

As the 11th edition of TrafficInfraTech Expo along with Parking InfraTech Expo, Road InfraTech Expo and Smart Mobility Expo came to a close on October 12, 2023, at Pragati Maidan, the positive response the event evoked has been, once again, an affirmation of the quality of the technology showcasing and the scale at which almost all verticals in the mobility ecosystem could be brought together to facilitate India’s vision towards achieving world class traffic/transport systems.

“I am happy to be here at the TrafficInfraTech Expo. It is a beautiful show which has been pulled off exceedingly well by the organizers. There are a large number of exhibits and exhibitors showcasing their technologies and many things which can be implemented not only in the highway projects but a project like ours, which is RRTS. A wonderful show which is going to help the implementers, the policy makers in probably formulating their strategies,” stated Vinay Kumar Singh, Managing Director, National Capital Region Transport Corporation, the title partner for the expo.

Sensor based camera technology is something which is being extensively utilized and here there are a number of interesting innovations in this segment which can be applied across different sectors.”

The event was organised by Virtual Info Systems Pvt Ltd in association with Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India and this collaboration will expand the horizon even farther. 120 plus exhibitors from various sectors—Infrastructure, Parking, Traffic Safety, Security, ITS, AI, ITMS, Fare & Toll, Telematics– along with government delegates, enforcement authorities, experts, academia and other stakeholders came together to showcase and deliberate the finest innovations and solutions in mobility.

Supported by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC), National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Central Road Research Institute (CRRI), Border Roads Organization (BRO) and many more, the event proved yet again that it is the most significant and powerful platform for the traffic/transport industry to come together.

“Along with the showcase of new technology in the stream of infrastructure, the Expo has also opened up a second avenue for awareness creation. These two combined together bring a lot of opportunities, a lot of traction to the infrastructure sector and that is what the advantage is,” added Sudhendu Sinha, Adviser (Infrastructure Connectivity – Transport and Electric Mobility), NITI Aayog. This is in tune with this year’s theme: Building the Future of Infrastructure and Mobility.

Officials like Prof. Manoranjan Parida, Director, CSIR-Central Road Research Institute had specific solution to look for “I visited the expo with a specific purpose- I tried to look at advanced driver assistance systems. CRRI works on deployment of radars into public transport vehicles by which we can understand the safety solutions for improving the highway operations. The expo platform is a good opportunity for connecting the industry with Government agencies and the construction industry that is taking up the development of road infrastructure.”

For exhibitors who have been participating over the years without a break, each show imparts refreshingly new experiences which prompt them to come back again. A.L. Narasimhan, Vice President – Strategic Business Alliances, Prama Hikvision India Pvt. Ltd said, “We have been participating in the show for over nine years now and it has reaped a lot of benefits for the organization. We had visitors coming from the traffic departments of the Government, the police departments across the country, and had the defence people visiting us, the Airport Authority of India as well as officials from some private sector companies that have great emphasis when it comes to transportation and automobiles.”
