Saving Fuel Cost, Emissions & Electricity
• Till now 69 Junctions have been identified as having significant variation in green time over a day. Total green time saving in the month of April was 2330 hours for 69 signals.
• In these signals during off peak and non-peak hours green time saving found to be 7%
• Total Idle fuel cost saving* is `5.6 crores.
• Total GHG (green house gases) emissions saved is 2838 tonnes.
• Due to solar & power management design 30-50% of electricity consumption is saved.
