The hardware & software is made on an open source platform so that it can be configured & reconfigured for introduction of new features with periodic upgrade and obsolescence control. The controller electronics and associated software are modular with easy upgradeability and re-configurability.

The HTRIMS has a differentiating feature by which the system is upgradable for future enhancements, reconfigurable remotely from BEL Bangalore. The health status of each parameter of any junction line replaceable unit is remotely viewable.

The mean time to repair has reduced drastically due to additional features of fault detection & fault localization in each module and sub-unit, remote monitoring & compliant monitoring system.

Graphical analysis of a junction mentioned shown in the figure below depicts the availability of solar power over a day. customer benefit by a 30% to 50% reduction in grid power consumption.
