The Gurgaon Faridabad Toll Plaza will be managed by Feedback Brisa Highways OMT Pvt Ltd, a joint venture between Feedback Infrastructure Services Private Limited and Brisa, Auto-estradas de Portugal.
The joint venture aims to create a unique experience for the user on the Indian roads by lowering waiting time at toll plazas; reducing accidents through better signages and safety measures; and taking proactive maintenance to improve life of asset, thereby raising OMT quality standard on the Indian roads at par with the best in the world.
Currently, the company is operating over 4,250km lane across 16 projects in the country. It takes an end-to-end ownership across tolling, route operations & incident management, routine maintenance and IT System support.
According to Vivek Rastogi, Managing Director, Feedback Brisa Highways OMT, the company plans to introduce smart tags based electronic tolling soon. This will save a significant amount of time for commuters and enhance efficiency in the operations.
The Expressway concessionaire Gurgaon Faridabad Toll Road Pvt Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of Reliance Infrastructure Ltd, has already installed CCTV cameras to avoid and monitor incidents of violations in toll payments.
