In an attempt to increase the road safety awareness within the delivery partners, one of India’s largest food delivery company, Zomato recently collaborated with the Cyberabad Traffic Training Institute during National Safety Week.
Zomato has successfully trained over 600 delivery partners, so far. Every delivery partner was extensively trained on the traffic rules & regulations, and accident prevention measures.
Zomato has the largest last mile delivery fleet of 1.5 lakh registered partners across 170+ cities and has been working towards building an inclusive environment, encouraging holistic growth, and creating long-term and sustainable employment opportunities. Through initiatives like Zomato Rider University, the company focuses on providing continuous digital and road safety training.
The National Safety Council organises the ‘National Safety Week Campaign’ fro -10m 4th-10th March, in India annually, to raise road safety awareness. The campaign also encourages citizens to adopt appropriate practices, policies, and procedures and offers training on various traffic rules and regulations.
