The third day of the seminar revolved around Urban Traffic Management. The panel discussion on ‘A Smart City Perspective’ had Guy Perry,President – Cities and Strategy, Essel Infraprojects Ltd (EIL); Rupesh Mehta, Deputy General Manager, Reliance Infrastructure Ltd; Prasun K Agrawal and Prashun Datta of Gaia Smart Cities, and Thomas Meyer, Director Sales & Business Development, Gevas Software Gmbh and Overseas Partner, Mass Trans as the panelists.
Dr. Rajesh Krishnan, CEO, ITS Planners and Engineers Pvt. Ltd. made a presentation on ‘Congestion management using road pricing’ while Ravin Mirchandani, Director, Ador Group spoke on ‘Smart Traffic Management’. The session on Parking Management had a presentation on ‘National Database for vendors and suppliers’ by Ashutosh Bhardwaj, Director Corporate Affairs, Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC).
