Tata Steel Construction Products has announced the launch of Tata Steel Highways to address the requirements of the highways industry. It has been created by bringing together all the highways containment solutions previously available with various businesses of Tata Steel including Vetex™ and Protect 365©. All the subsidiaries of Corus have been rebranded under the Tata Steel Group.
With this launch, the customers will now get a complete product portfolio that will allow them access to a full range of ‘end-to-end’ solutions on the highways. The division is expected to consolidate the group’s understanding of the material properties of steel and in-depth experience of construction, engineering and auto sectors which will further lead to added value for the customers.
Tata Steel Highways is designed to exceed the requirements of the European standard EN1317 for highways safety systems. Many products and services will be announced under this banner in early 2011.
