Multiple discussions; A bundle of takeaways

Conference sessions have always been the highlight of TrafficInfraTech Expo. The areas chosen, the issues discussed are in tune with the recent developments in the mobility space- Infrastructure, technology, or policies. The conference this time too covered topics right from sustainable construction, new age parking, emerging technologies for Road safety, security and tolling to ITS development in India and V2X as an important element of enhancing vehicle safety and improving traffic efficiency; ITS in India.

The delegates felt that interactions like these along with Expo allow for exchange of ideas, peer to peer soliciting; what they are doing, where we stand in terms of achievements and more importantly what more needs to be done. “The Expo provided a great opportunity for players to be able to see how they could utilize and further take up their market segments for a more holistic solution that the country is looking forward to.”

It is good to see the industry, the consultants and multiple players coming together. The topic of sustainable construction was very relevant and it is very important, the way the country’s infrastructure is progressing to bring together various thought leaders and try and deliberate on how we could steer this entire agenda forward.

I have been associated with Trafficinfratech magaine and exhibition for the past 7-8 years and I am happy I could contribute as an advisor to the Conference. The session on infrastructure development in the North East was very informative. The Show has also turned more AI based with more technology showcasing.

Former Chief Engineer, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways

I have been associated with the TrafficInfratech expo for the last two years. The session on cellular V2X and the 5G technology was quite important. We can use this technology to build safer roads and to create a safer ecosystem for pedestrians. The cellular V2X based on 3GPP specification will help the country to build a safer ecosystem for the vehicles, as well as for pedestrians.”

Dy. Director General (IoT), Ministry of Communications

“It was a wonderful experience at the conference. We in BRO (Border Roads Organisation) are working in a very harsh condition in the country- I am confident that whatever interaction we have done, along with the new technologies will be helpful for us to enhance our pace of construction in the future. The conference was an excellent experience especially for road safety which is a matter of concern in the country.”

VSM, ADG BR (HQ), Border Roads Organisation

A good show and Conference. This platform brings various products and solutions on one platform. There were software, cameras, products, machinery, signals . . . The solutions we found interesting were the barricades with ANPR camera system which can be used to detect wrong side driving, the smart pole signal systems which lights up the entire pole, road marking machines, ITMS products, ATC controllers for signals, infrared light flash for ANPR cameras. Instead of looking around in different places, we are able to source the products needed under one roof. This expo is very helpful for future planning. We could also understand which are the cities that have adopted new technologies.
