The NHAI has awarded a project to IRB Infrastructure Devleopers Pvt Ltd to widen into four lanes a 190km stretch of National Highway 211 in Maharashtra. The project, in the Yedeshi-Aurangabad section of the highway, IRB will execute the project on a build-operate-transfer (BOT) basis, with a construction period of 910 days and a concession period of 26 years. The Central government will provide a viability gap funding of Rs. 558 crore, about 20% of the cost of the project to IRB.
