Four Lanes to be added to NH-8D

Jetpur Somnath Tollways has been awarded a 30 month contract by NHAI to construct four additional lanes to the Jetpur-Somnath section of the National Highway-8D in Gujarat. The project is given on a design, build, finance, operate and transfer basis. The company, consisting of Jetpur’s parent company Plus Expressway, IDFC and six nominal stakeholders, is a special purpose vehicle created for the project. Upon completion of the construction, the company will also maintain and operate the highway, and collect toll from the highway users.
