ALK Technologies releases new mobile navigation apps

US based ALK Technologies, a navigation software company, recently released a new version of its mobile navigation apps, CoPilot, for Mac iOS and Android. The latest version has a feature called ?Just Drive? which enables motorists to drive along a route without entering a final destination. It has a full-screen map for better orientation, along with essential on-road information such as traffic conditions, a compass and speedometer. New connectivity settings provide users better control over the use of mobile internet, enabling them to protect data limits by navigating with offline maps and choosing which connected functions to keep active. A new feature called ActiveTraffic detects closed roads on the route and alerts users, helping them to take alternate routes.
