“We are happy we participated”

KJ-AhnKJ Ahn
Overseas Business Director, ETI

South Korea based ETI Ltd specializes in manufacturing road’s steel barriers. We have introduced our new technology safety barriers called ETI Roller system barriers. We are happy to introduce this new product to Indian markets. It has been invented by ETI Korea to save human lives because the conventional barriers were ineffective in doing so. The Indian market has a long way to go in this regard but we are trying the market for the future in order to save the Indian road users.

I feel the Indian road authorities are very concerned about the cost of the barriers. They talk more about conventional barriers which cost less than our roller barriers. I feel they must be concerned more about human life. So, this is a very good chance for the road authorities to move forward on advanced technology. We are participating at the TrafficInfraTech Expo for the first time. We also met many suppliers and industry players at the Expo.

Founder & CEO, Swaraj Secutech Pvt Ltd

Swaraj Secutech is an endeavour by a team of ex-Army professionals. One of our primary products is bollard. There is a gap in understanding bollards in India though – they can either be traffic bollards or certified crash bollards. There is a difference between a certified and non-certified product. So we, at Swaraj, have designed bollards in collaboration with Automotive Research Association of India, Pune and we have had it certified in the UK by a physical crash test where a truck at 80km per hour was driven to this bollard. Also, we are the first Indian OEMs who are making a completely indigenous boom barrier.

What I like really about the Expo is the way the organisers have the valuable footprints. They are very targeted. They are not random people, they are people who know what they are seeking and when they ask questions, we really know they are the ones who matter. So, it is really nice to participate in a targeted exhibition like TrafficInfraTech Expo. This is my second year and in Hebrew they say ‘kol hakavod’, in English they say ‘well done’, in Hindi they say ‘bahut bhadiya’ and it is well done.

Sales Director, Parkeon

France based Parkeon is a world-wide leader in parking and transportation solution systems. We operate in more than 4000 cities around the world and are very proud to be here. In the Indian market, there are too many issues in traffic solutions management that need to be tackled. So when we talk about parking solutions on-the-street, we are talking about metres and multi-space metres through which we can manage up to 25 on-street places. We also offer features such as coupons and sensors to measure pollution. Through our big data analytic services, our customers can measure the service we deliver, money coming in, the usage, and also the activities of the parking services. India is a very important market for us. Its drivers need to be more disciplined though. Since traffic is heavy, parking solutions can bring better discipline, reduce pollution, and improve the quality of the drivers, the users and the life of the cities.

We are proud to attend the Expo. It was a real success. We met many prospective customers and understood their needs and expectations. We will be happy to display, improve and expand our presence in India.
