Through our presence at TrafficInfraTech Expo we wanted to make our customers, municipal corporations, police departments and the users, aware of the traffic management and traffic monitoring technology available with us.

We incorporate two technologies: optics and the thermal. We are doing a lot of work in the domain of video incident detection and we use a lot of distance signal processing on our cameras. We use integrated sensors for the urban traffic management and try to help the police department, municipal corporations and the end-users of the cities through these smart sensors. So, we are trying to help the cities ease out traffic congestion. We have another smart set of solutions which incorporates our smart video based automatic incident detection technology.

At the Expo, all the traffic management companies or the concessionaires can get the benefit of these latest technologies available with our company. We are very happy to be a part of this forum, to be able to interact with the end-customers, the policy makers and the decision makers.

Bharat Electronics is into traffic signals. We have installed signals in Hyderabad and Bangalore. In Hyderabad it is a 100 percent vehicle actuated and centrally controlled software. In India, there are a lot of traffic congestion problems. So to overcome that we convert all the traffic signals into a centrally controlled monitor. Based on the density of the traffic signals, we control the traffic flow and also measur the traffic density in all the junctions. We provide this information for the consumer application.

We provid a platform to integrate our systems like video management system, traffic management system and the emergency management systems.
