Ravi Agarwal, Sales Director (South Asia), Pepperl + Fuchs India was thankful for the Show?s role in promoting awareness of the company?s products and getting new clients, ?This is third time we are participating in TrafficInfraTech Expo. We have been having operations in India since the last 30 years, our principal company being German. We are into RFID systems and industrial automation, applied to infrastructure. It has been a journey for us with TrafficInfraTech Expo. The Show has helped us portray ourselves and our products well in the Indian market. Being a focussed and a niche Show, we got visitors asking pertinent questions and were able to explain technology to actual people who count. We got very good prospective clients. The seminars have been quite substantial with very pertinent topics.?

Amit Gupta, Chief Marketing Officer, Rajdeep Info Techno Pvt Ltd was happy to be involved with the Show, ? This is the second time we have exhibited at TrafficInfraTech Expo. We are into toll plaza automation systems, highway traffic management systems and other ITS related products. We are the largest toll plaza management company in India with about 1300 lanes under us, and we are present in all states in India, except Kerala. Our strength lies in product quality and after-sales service. The response to all our products has been fantastic and more people now feel that they would like to be involved with our company. It has been a pleasure to get involved with TrafficInfraTech.?

Sanjay Bhandari, Director, Aabmatica Technologies Pvt Ltd said, ?We provide a lot of number plate recognition solutions for the Delhi police. In fact, the entire Delhi city has been covered by us. We are supported by NGN of Italy. We also have other traffic solutions. This is the first time that we have exhibited at the Show. It has been good; we got more visitors than we expected. We also got a lot of enquiries which we hope to convert into customers.?

Rasmeet Kohli, Managing Director, Envoys Electronics Pvt Ltd said, ?Recently we launched new products which we displayed at the Show ? emergency call boxes and new Variable Messaging Systems. These VMSs have anti-theft features and sensors which trigger an alarms and alerts in the control room if there is intrusion or if any of the doors of the system opens. The fare displays for toll collection are now anti-glare. We have launched another new product for the traffic industry ? wireless traffic signals. These signals are quite useful in a country like India where roads are dug up often.

?Most of our customers are highway concessionaries and traffic police and municipal corporations. I found the visitors to be very good and relevant to our industry ? decision makers and proper B to B visitors. I have been to other traffic shows but they have not been so successful.?

Pawan Sharma, GM (Solutions), Steria thought the Show was very good for government and police officials, ?Steria is a French company with operations in 16 odd countries. For the traffic industry we have specialised software applications for highway traffic management, fleet management and parking management. We had a lot of existing and potential vendors, partners, competitors and prospective clients visiting us at the Show. The response to our products at the Show was good; we got quite a significant number of serious queries and our marketing & sales team would have to do a lot of work after the Show. This is a very good show for government officials and police authorities to see where technology stands today and what could be done with it. The seminars also were good. We attended a seminar on ANPR which had very good content and was well presented.?

Nitin Behl, Head ? Marketing Operations, Motorola India said, ?We are primarily into data and voice communications. We displayed at the Show our latest radio communication equipment and our e-citation solutions which are being used by the Delhi Police. We got a good response at the show. We had a senior police officer and his entire team visiting our booth and inspecting & evaluating our products. We found that many of them are definitely aware of the technologies and are looking for better grade products and solutions. So this Show acts as a forum and helps connects the suppliers and technology innovators with the customers. It would be good to have more solution providers at the Show.?

Mahesh Dandavate, Managing Director, Samarth Softech Solutions Pvt Ltd said, ?We are into different traffic solution systems such as toll collection systems, parking systems and solutions using modern systems such as piezoelectric and sensor based traffic counters & classifiers. Our clients include toll users, toll contractors and government agencies such as PWD, MSRDC, NHAI, airport authorities & parking contractors. We have got a good response from visitors like the traffic police and urban development authorities for our products. They were especially focussed on automatic number plate recognition system (ANPR) and toll audit systems. It would be good if we get more products from international exhibitors for ANPR systems. Our team attended the seminar on ITS which was very interesting.?

Monty Singh, Marketing and Strategy, Grand (IJS Electronics) felt TrafficInfraTech magazine and Virtual Info Systems were doing a very good job by organising the Show, ?We are mainly into warning and security products. Grand is in the industry since the last 30 years and we were the first to release and launch light box system in the country. Most of our products are aimed towards the highway traffic industry like the highway patrol vehicles, highway ambulances, highway cranes and city patrol. Our customers are chiefly police departments, security agencies and highway maintenance agencies. One of our security motorcycles was selected by the Delhi Police and launched as a part of the Delhi traffic police fleet. We got a lot of enquires for our products from visitors all over the country and are quite satisfied with the response?.

David Moszkowicz, CEO, Lumiplan was happy with the inquires the company got and felt the Show was a good platform for business development. ?The Expo has been a very good opportunity to showcase the future of public transport in India. I could meet with the important decision makers and put forward my views and needs to them. The seminars were really great. The presentations were very interesting and the audience was well-informed too. I got many relevant and useful inquires after my presentation on traffic scheduling and planning. We also made contact with some potential partners. So it is a good platform for B to B business development. I hope to come for the next edition of the Show too.?
