Showcasing New Technologies

With limited historical data availability and lack of data set points in cities, the onus is on industry to introduce a solution which will give policymakers constructive data points on which they can make quick decisions. Hence to increase the data points and quality of the data, we introduced solutions for congestion monitoring using AI, ML and DL which can get into any existing system, integrate with the system and extract what authorities require. The system can automatically monitor the traffic congestion and report back to the control centre.

We always see this Expo as good platform to showcase new and advanced technology for the Indian market. This year, we received a qualitative footfall in terms of decision-makers. During the expo, we received orders for a pilot project from Indore for smart signalling. The second pilot project that we bagged was for video-based automatic traffic counter. Besides, a UK-based visitors has confirmed an order for our database technology called Traffic Lens.

During the exhibition, we showcased all products and solutions related to transportation. We displayed smart pole solutions, face & number plate recognition solutions, ITMS solutions, and various other solutions for the police department which will help them curtailing the crime. Importantly, we have received a good number of visitors at our stall that includes prominent government officials and representation from the police.

One of the biggest challenges in the country is preventing crimes and it can be done through available technologies. Across the country, authorities can propagate some of the major technologies such as intrusion alarm system, access control system, and perimeter surveillance system etc.

This year, we launched a smart parking system solution and a smart city dashboard. The smart parking solution is robust and integrated with AI and ML. It’s one-of-its-kind and well-proven technology in Europe where we deployed it in multiple projects. For smart city dashboard, the solution can monitor traffic, parking, enforcement along with various other smart application such as smart building and the smart environment as well. We also launched a real-time traffic detector which could curb the traffic violators and can keep the track of a number of vehicles travelling on the road. The technology also detects any traffic incidents and can extract the numbers from a newly vehicle. Smart parking is a recently launched product that we have introduced for the Indian market. Currently, we are aggressive in the European market and monitoring 150,000 parking lots every second.

During the Expo, we have managed to interact with the decision makers, senior officials from the police and transport department. They like our technology and want to incorporate at the earliest into their system. This is our fourth year, and most of the time, we have been receiving senior level visitors. But I think, there is a requirement of bringing in policy makers, as they should know what kind of technology is available in the market.

We displayed smart parking solutions and I am pleased to tell you that in the last couple of years, we have taken a huge stride on this vertical. Besides, smart cities are our key focus area, and we have four business verticals—parking, poles, environment sensors and lighting. We have a comprehensive product lineup throughout the value chain. From sensors to data collection, we can churn out the data into a formidable and sensible outcome.

TrafficInfraTech Expo has been an ideal platform for us to present our unique Smart Parking Solution before the right audience. We hope to build connections with relevant corporates, the government officials and the channel partners.
