Metro Phase-4 extends up to Gaimukh at Ghudbunder Road

Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) plans to extend the Metro Phase-4 corridor (Wadala-Ghatkopar-Thane-Kasarvadavali corridor)  to Gaimukh at Ghodbunder Road, Thane.

Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra assured residents of Mira-Bhayander that Metro will be stretched up to Gaimukh and promised to conduct a feasibility study on an immediate basis. “MMRDA is meant to develop the metropolitan region and we are committed to fulfill the requirements. I promise for an integrated transport system.”

Fadnavis further declared a Ro-Ro service which will transport vehicles and passengers around areas like Gorai, Borivli, Bhayander Vasai. He said, “This would mean that the Mira-Bhayander area will get connectivity through Railway, Metro, Road and Water.”
