Addressing the significant time spent by visitors searching for parking, the city has integrated IoT-powered infrastructure within its urban landscape. Notably, over 200 smart parking sensors have been deployed in the Wynyard Quarter, complemented by smart lighting systems capable of generating heat maps of pedestrian traffic and monitoring environmental factors like air and noise pollution.
