The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA)?s request for bids to construct 4.25 km long Sewri-Worli elevated corridor in Mumbai has found response from five companies – Gammon India Ltd., Hindustan Construction Company Ltd., Larsen & Tubro Ltd., N.C.C. Limited and Simplex Infrastructure Ltd. The corridor starts from the Sewri interchange of the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) near Sewri Railway station in the East and would be a very crucial feeder link to the Link. At least 20,000 motorists are expected to benefit from this elevated corridor daily.
