Ashbee Systems Ltd

An ISO 9001:2015 company, Ashbee Systems has been at the forefront of Electronic Weighing technology since 1981. For the past 13 years, the company has installed Weigh in Motion across various toll plazas and enabled the operators and concessionaires to screen and penalize overloaded vehicles. The operators are allowed to generate significant revenue by levying penalties on overloaded vehicles allowed by NHAI

Medium Speed Weigh in Motion

  1. Bending Plate

Bending plates has strain gauges fitted in the plate itself. Two plates are required per lane to cover the width of 3m wide traffic lane. These strain gauges measure the force applied by the wheels of an axle of a passing vehicle. The disadvantage of the existing bending plate is in case of failure of a single gauge you need to replace the complete plate. Repair and maintenance cost is high.

  1. Hybrid Bending Plate

Hybrid bending plate is low profile and sits directly on load cells. This system consists of a base frame that is fixed in the road and a top plate fitted with double ended sheer beam type load cells. The system consists of two such plates installed side by side on the road in level with ground surface to cover the width of 3m wide traffic lane to weigh individual axle of moving vehicles. Load cells are mounted between the base frame and the plate.

  1. 4 Load Cells Based

This system consists of a base frame that is fixed in the road and a platform fitted with Double Ended/Folded Beam load cells. The frame is installed on the road in level with ground surface. 3m wide platform is used in the standard lane and 4m wide platform is used in extra wide lane to weigh individual axle of moving vehicles. Load cells are mounted between the base frame and the platform.

Mobile Weighbridge

Mobile weighbridge needs a smooth hard surface on which the platform & ramp rests. It can be installed on standard PQC. This saves a lot of cost and time. Standard weighbridge foundation and installation take 2-3 months whereas a mobile weighbridge can be installed in 1-2 days. This mobile weighbridge can be shifted to another site easily in situations for example when number of lanes have to be increased at a Toll Plaza. The modular design helps in easy cost affective transportation and reinstallation. This weighbridge is most suitable for temporary sites such as construction sites. Foundation is replaced by a steel fabricated base frame. Ramps are provided along with the weighbridge. Total height of weighbridge from floor level is 250mm. All modules including base frame are supplied duly fabricated and welded. The modules are MIG welded, so very robust and sturdy. These are bolted together and assembled at site in few hours.

SWB shall have high accuracy, software calibrated, password protected digital weight indicator with 6 digit bright display of 20mm height.
