At the inauguration of India’s largest and most comprehensive show on Smart and Safe Mobility, TrafficInfraTech Expo 2015, today in New Delhi, the Chief Guest Shankar Agarwal appreciated the endeavor and compared it to the best of the similar international shows. “Urbanization and urban mobility are some of the most pressing issues facing the country today. Being showcased at this segment are systems & products like, pedestrian and vehicular access systems, parking management & guidance systems, boom barriers, ticket dispensers and many more. The Expo saw presence of 20 countries including Germany, Australia, Italy, UK, US, Finland, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Singapore, Taiwan Austria, Spain, China, Qatar and UAE among others. Almost 100 national and international exhibitors showcased more than 120 brands of products and solutions in traffic management, intelligent transportation systems, telematics, road safety, tolling systems and mass transportation. The first day of the show witnessed mutually fruitful interactions between the visitors and the exhibitors. For many, the impressive array of products and the level of technology was clearly a revelation. Special Commissioner Delhi Police – Traffic, Dr.Muktesh Chander who visited almost all the exhibitor stalls was appreciative of the fact that the show had successfully brought global companies and international technologies to the forefront. “The Expo is the step in the right direction and latest traffic management technologies on display are impressive.” he said. We got to know of the latest technology in Breath Analysers, vehicle-mounted speed analyzer and the tab-enabled devices that could be held in hand &also connect to the server.
