75000th rail coach from ICF

Integral Coach Factory, Chennai, has produced 75,000 coaches, the final one being the 69th rake of a Vande Bharat train set to leave the manufacturing lines. Currently engaged in the manufacture of different variants of the latest semi-high speed ‘Vande Bharat’ coaches, the ICF is now prepared to produce sleeper and metro coaches too. Since its inception in 1955, ICF has been producing Electric Multiple Units (EMUs), Diesel Electric Multiple Units (DEMUs), High Speed Accident Relief Train, Air-conditioned Electric Multiple Units, Golden Chariot and Maharaja’s Express, among others. It also exports coaches to the foreign market.
