Punjab to allow new motor cabs

The Punjab government will allot more than 100 permits for operating new motor cabs and maxi cabs to provide improved transportation facilities to link villages to cities. The permits will be issued under the Mata Gujri Punjab Motor and Maxi Cab Scheme. Educated, unemployed youth would be given priority for the allotment of the permits.
