Sparsh is in the forefront of electronic security market in India. What is the new technology in this space?
The future growth engines of CCTV camera industry are HD and IP. We have launched the HDAVI – HD Analog cameras and DVRs thus pioneering the high resolution camera and DVR space. This is a breakthrough in technology where we can transmit up to 500m HD video over co-axial cable thus utilizing analog infrastructure for providing high resolution HD video.
Our ZSecure IP camera series has already received overwhelming response from the market pioneering the enterprise IP solution. We have now launched our Elegant IP camera series for SMEs which is an economical IP solution for small and medium enterprises which do not need too many features but have high IP resolution surveillance as their main objective.
The Elegant IP camera series comprises of 1.3MP, 2MP and 3MP IP cameras along with NVRs supporting real-time recording up to 5MP.
We have also launched our SMART series of DVRs which is our next generation DVR series with features like NAS storage support, FTP storage, alarms for crucial events, complete health check up of the DVR, 3G & Wi-Fi enabled, etc. Moreover the next generation compression technology helps the customers save crucial storage requirements and cost.
What kind of product innovations are being pushed by the company in the surveillance space?
Sparsh has recently come up with an innovative product – smart & intelligent DVR range “Smart Series”. This is a truly enterprise grade product with security features like custom HTTPS/SSL certificate. We had earlier launched the HDAVI – HD Analog cameras and DVRs thus pioneering the high resolution camera and DVR space. This is a breakthrough in technology where we can transmit up to 500m HD video over co-axial cable thus utilizing analog infrastructure for providing high resolution HD video. We have done some major changes in our DVR portfolio; recently we have introduced Mini DVR and Improva series DVR in qHD resolutions which is first in the Industry. This range of DVR can support 800 TVL cameras. Sparsh has also launched new hardware and software platforms for all its DVR with features like unique triple watch dog, black box technology and new interface.

Solar Power Street Camera is a complete and fully integrated solar power surveillance unit provides safe and reliable camera surveillance by transmitting video on wireless technology & 24 hours a day where it can be recorded from a location convenient for you. The unit provides power generation by converting the energy of the sun without the need and expense of trenching for utility power. The sealed, deep-cycle batteries enclosed provide extended life for solar applications.
How would you sum up the future for your company and its business growth?
Based on various estimates, the global CCTV market is still growing at double digit rates and the Indian market is growing more than double the global growth rate. Sparsh as a company and brand would like to lead the Digital Surveillance Space by continuous innovation and offering technically advanced product in the market.
Understanding the importance of technology as a competitive advantage, we would invest on our R&D to come up with innovative and breakthrough products and solutions in surveillance space. We are also aggressive on the government vertical with Sparsh already registered as an approved DGS&D brand for supply of CCTV cameras and solution to all the central and state government bodies. The company aims to expand the global reach and target to achieve 10% of the sales revenue through exports in the next two to three years. We, today, export to more than ten countries including Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Vietnam, and a few countries in Europe.
The current CCTV industry is flooded with a high numbers of unorganized players. In this highly competitive and cluttered market, Sparsh has positioned itself as a “Made In India” brand. Sparsh being Indian manufacturer has the advantage of Preferential Market Access in Government Tenders for Electronic Products.
