Google Maps helps you find your parked car

A new feature introduced on Google Maps helps you find your parked car just in case you forget the bay you parked it in. All the Android users have to do is tap the blue dot and then tap “Save your parking”. The location of the parked car then gets added to the map.

Google gave this information on a blog post recently. The user can then find the car on return. A label will appear on the map itself which will identify the car. The users can also add additional details about their parking bay/ spot. They need to tap the label to open the parking card and fill in the details. Not only this, they can save an image of the parking spot and send the parking location to friends. The process is similar for the iOS users too. The difference is minor: After they tap on the blue dot, the label will lead to an instruction ‘Set as parking location’ on the map itself.
