Crowd-sourced app to end parking woes

SwaroopSagar, an Engineering graduate and entrepreneur from Vijaynagar, Bangalore has developed a free, crowd-sourced parking app, Parkitektis, designed to help Bangalore motorists to find the nearest, cheapest parking space on a real-time basis on a Google map on their Android smartphones. It gives the route from the origin of the trip and also images of what the route looks like. This app is the first of its kind in India and allows drivers to use it as an information sharing platform.
