The implementation of Intelligent Transportation Systems on Pune's roads has led to an increase in commuting speed and traffic volume and has reduced the travel time, traffic congestion and fuel consumption. Dubbed 'CGRAPS' and funded by the Pune Municipal Corporation, the project has been developed by CDAC Thiruvananthapuram under the JnNURM scheme.
