Breath Alcohol Analyser ALH 5000 from Subtroncs India Pvt Ltd is widely used in various applications such as law enforcement, checking of drunk employees, security entry checks, hotels and restaurants, hospitals and clinical diagnostic centres. It gives an audio alarm with visual flashing on detecting alcohol on the test subject. For testing, the subject blows over the sensing portion of the analyser. The alarm sounds when the content of the breath alcohol gas goes beyond a preset level. The instrument is extremely light weighing just 120gm, runs on batteries, thus making it useful as a portable breath analyser. It gives 10 hours of continuous operation on batteries and also has a low battery indicator and a car charging confirmation light.
