Its multiple serial ports facilitate easy integration of extra devices, such as CANBus for charging control and various M.2 slots for 5G, Wi-Fi, SATA, and PCIe storage. With four RS-232 and two RS-485 ports, it ensures adaptability in complex EV charging systems. Additionally, its Power over Ethernet (PoE) support streamlines deployment, reduces cabling complexity, and enhances security through IP cameras.

Selecting displays for EV charger stations:

Standard or wide ratio: The choice between standard (4:3) and wide ratio (16:9) panels depends on the specific application. Standard ratio displays offer a more square-shaped form factor, ideal for basic kiosk operation, while wide ratio displays, with their elongated top and bottom, are better suited for signage and multimedia applications.

Display size and Brightness: Display size varies according to the intended use, with smaller 7″ and 10.1″ wide ratio displays suitable for simple operations and larger 12.1″ and 15″ 4:3 ratio models preferred for complex transactions. For maximum video performance, larger 21.5″ and 23.8″ 16:9 displays are the go-to choice.

Viewing angle: The viewing angle is crucial, with TN, IPS, and VA technologies available. TN displays are common in industrial settings but have limited viewing angles. In contrast, IPS and VA technologies provide ultra-wide 178/178 viewing angles, ensuring superior visibility.

Air bond or Optical bond: Regarding touch solutions, there are two bonding processes. Air bonding is cost-effective and commonly used, while optical bonding uses adhesive to fully laminate the LCD panel and touchscreen.
