Noida’s roads will soon undergo a major face lift. Modern bus queue shelters and tech-savvy public conveniences will soon form part of the city’s street-scape. Tenders for 90 modern bus queue shelters have been initiated.
The project has been vetted by IIT-Delhi. The shelter will be disabled friendly and have provision for lighting and branding. Being done in a big way to improve and beautify the general outlook of roads, the aim is to optimize the efficiency of roads and road junctions and help commuters. About 200 of these facilities, which will include public conveniences will be put into place in the next one year. Selected developers will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the facilities.
