RFID Reader Technology

For Free-Flow Tolling systems and vehicle identification at toll plazas, FEIG
offers several UHF Long Range Readers and antennas to identify vehicle-
mounted UHF transponders. The readers allow read ranges up to 16 meters
and offer an integrated secure element that prevents cloning of authorized
transponders. Identification takes place even at speeds of more than 200
km/h. The company provides APIs and SDKs for customers by facilitating
integration of the hardware in the system. Certifications like ETSI and FCC
guarantee worldwide use.

Contactless Payment Terminals
Contactless payment terminals guarantee secure and comfortable
payment at toll plazas. Certified according to highest security requirements
the terminals support both, closed loop payment and open loop payment.
So RFID based customer cards of residents are also accepted as contactless
debit/credit cards of sporadic users. Mobile payment is of course also
accepted.
FEIG terminals accept MasterCard, VISA, American Express, Discover and
RuPay as well as RFID cards based on Mifare, Felica or Cipurse

Barrier Controller & Detectors
Beside RFID technology for vehicle identification and payment terminals
for stationary charging, FEIG is also able to offer barrier control units and
induction loop detectors for barrier systems.
Control units and detectors work optimally together with RFID hardware
from FEIG - this ensures an easy installation and highest performance.
